INSTALLATION

Rubber mats may slightly vary in dimensions after manufacturing and cooling. This is a natural property of the material and does not affect functionality.

We recommend staggered installation (brick pattern rather than corner-to-corner), which helps compensate for minor dimensional variations and improves stability.

Expansion gaps should be left near walls (approximately 5–10 mm depending on the floor area). The flooring should not be fixed to walls to allow natural material movement.

If a specific tile is exposed to direct sunlight and there is a risk of expansion or movement, we recommend local fixation using a suitable adhesive. Adhesive should only be applied beneath the affected tile, not across the entire surface.

Cutting the tiles

  • 8 mm tiles can be cut using a utility knife, though this requires more physical effort.
  • Tiles up to 15 mm thick can also be cut with a jigsaw.
  • For thicker tiles, a circular saw with a 20–24 tooth blade is recommended to prevent overheating and sticking during cutting.

Installation near walls

Near walls, we recommend edge pieces with a minimum width of 20 cm to maintain floor stability and visual balance.

If the room layout does not allow this, smaller edge pieces may still be used without affecting functionality.

Maintenance

The tiles are made from rubber granules with a lightly porous surface.

We recommend:

  • regular vacuuming or sweeping,
  • cleaning with water or a mild detergent as needed,
  • avoiding aggressive chemicals.
