Unique Swedish Hestra tiles are highly versatile – suitable for both residential and commercial use, indoors and outdoors. If you have ever built a house or renovated an apartment, you know how difficult it can be to find reliable installers. With Hestra tiles, however, you can easily do it yourself! Installation is as simple as assembling puzzle pieces or LEGO blocks. Each tile features loops and pins that simply click into place.
The tiles can be dismantled or individual pieces replaced at any time. If adjustments are needed, a standard hand saw for wood or plastic is sufficient.

Installation
A hard and level surface (tiles, concrete, wood, etc.) is required for a stable installation.
Do not place the tiles directly on surfaces such as Fatrafol, IPA or textile membranes – the protrusions on the underside could damage them.
- remove all objects and thoroughly clean the installation area,
- begin installation in the corner and continue from left to right,
- place the tiles diagonally to the wall with the loops facing the right side,
- leave a 10 mm expansion gap near walls,
- connect the tiles by pressing the pins into the loops,
- cut the tiles using a fine-tooth saw,
- for a clean cut, cutting from the underside is recommended,
- finish the flooring with edge trims and corner pieces from our accessories range.
