“Since November 2021, we have moved to newer facilities, which we are still adapting to better suit both us and the horses. We are essentially still in the middle of reconstruction – we need to finish the riding arena, five outdoor boxes and we are planning to reseed the pastures. This year was extremely dry, so we will postpone that until next year.

At our previous location, I tried rubber mats and asphalt gravel. It worked, but only short-term. Currently, we have concrete panels in three paddock shelters, which are great for cleaning manure with machinery. In the stallion paddock, we installed Mosolut INB mats – and we are extremely satisfied.”

“In our private stable, we hadn’t used anything special for ground stabilisation before – we were looking for a solution that wouldn’t permanently alter the landscape and would be easy to install. Concrete was not an option.

When we came across the INB system, we decided to test four different installation methods – loose laying, with a base layer underneath, with top infill and on drainage. We used it under a shelter where the horses spend the day in shade (but not overnight), as well as around feeders and water points.”

“We have a pond in our garden that often overflows during winter, creating muddy conditions across the entire area. The water spreads further across the land and everything becomes difficult to walk through.

That’s why we decided to stabilise the terrain using the INB system. By extending it up to the wall, where smaller animals and chickens also pass, we achieved a stable and clean surface even in the worst weather.”
