Modular flooring system for large-scale tents, emergency infrastructure and mass events

Mosolut Event is a modular flooring system designed for demanding and often temporary conditions – such as mass events, humanitarian installations, emergency response operations or temporary facilities.

The system is engineered for fast installation, high load capacity and safe movement of people and equipment. It creates a stable, hygienic and structurally reliable surface where the existing terrain or substrate is unsuitable.

Structure and technical parameters

The flooring panels are made from polypropylene regranulate. The construction is lightweight yet highly durable.

Technical specifications:

  • Panel size: 500 × 500 mm
  • Height: 27 mm
  • Weight: approx. 4.9 kg/m²
  • Load capacity: up to 130 t/m²*
  • Slip resistance: R9 (DIN 51130)
  • Fire classification: Efl (ISO 13501-1, EN ISO 11925-2)
  • Temperature resistance: -20 °C to +70 °C

* Load capacity always depends on the subfloor and load distribution.

The system allows installation in 2 or 4 directions and creates a 100% mechanical interlock without the need for additional fixing.

Use in emergency and humanitarian conditions

Mosolut Event is particularly suitable for:

  • vaccination centres
  • emergency accommodation facilities
  • humanitarian tent bases
  • distribution and registration centres
  • volunteer fire brigade facilities
  • evacuation and crisis response sites

In these situations, the key requirements are:

  • fast installation
  • reusability
  • easy cleaning and maintenance
  • safe movement for all users, including seniors and children

The perforated version allows water drainage and ventilation underneath the structure, which is especially important when installed on grass or unpaved ground.

Stability under high load

The system is designed to withstand:

  • high foot traffic
  • technical equipment loads
  • temporary storage operations
  • point loads from furniture and installations

The 27 mm height creates an air gap between the subfloor and walking surface, contributing to:

  • partial insulation
  • moisture protection
  • cable routing beneath the floor without damage

Operational safety

The textured surface ensures slip resistance even in wet conditions.
The Efl fire classification meets requirements for use in public spaces.

The flooring is designed to avoid unstable joints or local deformations. The locking system is strong yet allows for quick dismantling.

Installation and logistics

Installation and dismantling require no tools.
Panels are connected by inserting and clicking into the integrated locking system.

Benefits for organisers:

  • minimal installation team required
  • short installation time
  • easy transport on pallets
  • quick reuse for future events

For larger projects (over 200 m²), the solution can be customised – including colour schemes or marking.

Economics and long-term use

Mosolut Event is not a single-use flooring system. It is designed for repeated use and long-term operation.

Compared to wooden boards or improvised solutions, it offers:

  • higher mechanical resistance
  • longer lifespan
  • lower maintenance requirements
  • reduced risk of damage from moisture

From the perspective of public budgets and non-profit organisations, it represents a sustainable long-term investment.
