Mosolut PRIME Acryl is a transparent, two-component polyurethane coating based on water, designed to provide effective anti-slip protection. After application, it creates a thin transparent layer that significantly improves grip – the difference is immediately noticeable when walking or touching the surface.
One of its major benefits is versatility. The coating adheres well to a wide range of surfaces, including shower trays, bathtubs, ceramic tiles, as well as materials such as acrylic, polyester and steel.
Step-by-step application guide
The application is designed to be simple enough for anyone to handle without special tools or experience. The package includes everything needed, along with detailed instructions.
- Before starting, ensure the area is well ventilated. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned with water, degreased and completely dried. Proper surface preparation is essential for achieving good adhesion.
- Next, use the included degreaser to clean the surface again and wipe it dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. If you want to define specific areas or edges, you can use the provided masking tape.
- Then proceed to mix the two components. Pour the contents of the brown bottle into the tin and mix thoroughly for about one minute. Proper mixing is crucial for consistent performance.
- Pour the mixture into the paint tray and apply it evenly using the supplied roller. Once applied, remove the masking tape and allow the coating to dry for at least 24 hours. After that, the surface is ready for normal use again.
- If needed in the future, the coating can be removed using a special remover without damaging the original surface.
